The kind of gun laws we need are the kind that educate and advocate the use of guns in the hands of citizens with spotless records. I have owned guns all my life and many clay targets have been eliminated. Many paper targets are now riddles with holes from various calibers of firearms....
Not once has my firearms taken aim on any human being. I have been educated on their use, I have committed no crimes and my children have been educated on gun safety time and time again.
So do gun laws prevent crime???
I'm going to assume you are slightly upset by the up and coming onslaught by the anti-gun lobby due to today's shootings.
It's sad indeed that so many were killed and wounded in a supposedly green zone country. But the simple fact will not change... If you take away our guns, only the bad guys will have guns...
Let's face it, liberals and those that have been affected in a negative way by a firearm will continue to fight against citizens having a right to own and use one. We know regulating them is the first step and would soon be followed by eliminating ownership. It's been a long and useless battle for the lobbyist, and they really haven't gained any ground in years.
