Info about your hermit crabs?
hi,
i was just wondering about how many hermitcrabs you all have?
What you feed them, names even photos etc.
Me-
I have roughly 120 hermit crabs, yes 120!, i have about 50 in a 6ft long by 2ft wide glass tank, about 40 in a 3ft long, 1.5ft wide tank and about 30 in a 3ft long, 2ft wide tank.
I have lots of small ones , lots of mediums and about 8 jumbos.
I feed then bread, steak, muesli, dried fruit (paw-paw, sultanas, banana, pineapple) sausages and the occasional vegie.
i have three tiny crabs, smallest: Kraimer little bigger: Grape biggest (still not very big): Krakers (yus, spelled with a k) they live in a ten gallon tank in my room, i will move them once they get bigger and maybe buy them more friends so i can have 10! I love them dearly! some people would be annoyed by the noise they make but i love em making it because its less lonely when i have a lot of homework to do. I hav had them for a couple years and theyr still goin strong! ive never had one die on me and never gotten pinched! yaaay! im scared of getting pinched... any advice? anyway i feed them boiled shrimp, rose petals, kale, and some organic powdered hermit crab food from thecrabbagepatch.com AWESOME WEBSITE!!! a word of advice don't feed them food w/ seasoning in it like sausage because its not very good for them but it seems you are obsessed with them like i am lolz! have fun crabbing! here's a vid of their cage i made http://www.youtube.com/user/TTerror97?feature=mhw4
