Thinking about selling Pampered Chef how much do they make?
I love their products, but I dont love to cook from completly from sratch but I like to cook. I was wondering how much they make. I will be a full time student and thought maybe I should sell pampered chef, so how much do they make?
Here is the real answer: Starting out, you will be making 20% commission as a starting point. Your commission rate changes with your sales during the month so that even in your first month you could make up to 25% commission on your month's sales. Once your career sales hits $15,000 (most hit this within their first year), the rate goes to where you can make from 22% up to 27% commission. Also, if you build a team and choose to promote to directorship, you will also get a 3% override on your team's sales.
I would also like to address the drawbacks that another answer gave: That "people can buy from the internet" is not entirely accurate. Consultants have the opportunity to get a company website from which customers can purchase at any time. Products can only be purchased on-line through a consultant's website and not directly through the company. People will still need to have a consultant. "You have to have mostly night parties." That depends on the clientelle that you build. Many consultants I know do lunchtime shows at businesses and brunch shows. YOU decide when you are available and schedule the shows accordingly. If you get into the college crowd, you are more likely to have shows at all times of the day.
"Constantly finding new customers." Yes, you will want to constantly work on building your customer base, but when you have a full schedule of shows, you will constantly be meeting new people through the "chain" of hosts and guests. Finding new customers is not always as hard as it sounds. There may be times when you hit a "slump" and need to find additional people, but you can usually do a vendor fair and fix that fairly easily, too.
