What's the worst piece of theatre you've ever seen.?
For the purposes of this question lets ignore amature shows. Worst piece of (allegedly) professional theatre you've ever seen? Musicals count.
I saw Urinetown on Broadway, a lovely musical-comedy about going to the bathroom. Hugely overhyped and self-indulgent.
Cabaret in NY was okay. However, I was horrified that the ushers were sitting on the lobby floor preparing the programs as people were entering the theatre. Then, they did not pass them out until after the show! We are talking about Broadway here.
Honorable mentions: Big, The Musical and the short-lived Urban Cowboy (both based on hit movies).
