Ronco Showtime
Showtime Rotisserie Oven?
Just today, my parents gave me their Ronco (tm) Showtime Rotisserie Oven. I've seen the thing on TV, like everybody else, but I've never used it.
Who has one, and in your opinion, how good is it? Any tricks or "pointers" I should know about?
I should point out that I'm already pretty experienced with cooking and recipes. I just want opinions on the device itself. Thanks peeps!
Works great! Tastes great! Easy clean-up. Can cook pork and beef as well as chicken and they all taste great. If it starts squeaking just put a dab of chicken drippings using a turkey baster (or something thet can reach) where the rotisserie spindle rests on that little ledge. Don't use vegetable oils or other oils because they are difficult to clean off. Happy eating!
