Local places that sharpen shears {scissors}?
I am trying to find a place that sharpen scissors that are for hair cutting.I can't purchase another pair cause they're too expensive for me right now.I'm needing some for my stateboard test.So I am looking for places that sharpen shears.I am thinking of a hardware store or something.Do they do that?Please help,I am looking for serious responses only because this is serious for me.My scissors are dull.
I'd take my garden shears to a hardware store for sharpening, sure, but I would never trust them with my good fabric scissors! Those get sharpened at a fabric store or at a certain repair shop here in town that handles good scissors well. Your best bet would be to phone a local fabric store and ask about where to get your good scissors sharpened. They probably know of several places nearby that do that.
